Completly erase a hard drive

Mar 2, 2007 11:39PM PST

Dell has sent me new hard drive to replace the one I have. I will reformat it before I send it back but is there a way to completly erase so that the info is nonrecoverable. Any freeware that will do this.

Thanks

That link should state DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke).
