I think it works if you run the delete-command 'as administrator'. But it's easier to format it. However, I don't exclude that you need to do that 'as administrator' also. Only trying will tell.
I had to get a new laptop and got windows 8. My old laptop was windows 7. I took the hard drive from my old laptop and place into an enclosure to use it as an external hard drive for storage. But, I can't figure out how to delete the old windows files. It keeps telling me that I don't have permission to do so. Could someone please help me to figure out how to remove these files so the drive is completely clean. Thank you
