Resolved Question

Compilations split into multiple albums

Mar 1, 2013 7:23AM PST

I've just ripped a 4-CD collection by various artists (using Nero Burning ROM) into 4 folders (....disc 1, 2, 3 & 4) but when I add the folders to itunes, I get an album for every track. I sync my ipod and without tediously finding all the tracks in sequence and creating a playlist, I can't play the album through. I've looked at the properties and compared them with other albums (also by various artists) but can't see where I've got it wrong.
I'm new to ipod / itunes so I'd much appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Bob. I'll have a look through and maybe there'll be something that'll do the business. I think it's a problem for tomorrow morning but I'll let you know how I get on.
Cheers.

Eventually!!!

It's taken longer to get back to this than expected, but the link you posted looks like it's what I've been looking for. I've managed to fix the existing ripped files and also a couple of new compilations without (barely) a hitch.
Thanks again Bob.
