Comparing Digital SLRs

May 30, 2005 1:23AM PDT

I am buying a new digital SLR. I wqas deciding between Nikon and Canon and wanted a price below $1000. My choices were the Nikon D70, Nikon DC70s, Nikon D50, Canon Digital Rebel, and Canon Digital Rebel XT. I have a Sigma lens for a film camera, I don't know if that will work for these cameras, but I want to buy a digital lens anyway. I am not sure which camera to buy, and which one is the best overall. HELP!!!

Comparing Digital SLRs

I have narrowed it down after plenty of research. I have these choices. Nikon D70 or the Nikon D70s. I don't know which is better. Then the Canon Digital Rebel XT because it has 8MP and is the same price. I am still deciding, but slighly favoring the Digital Rebel XT. I still need some help.
