Compaq Presario Blank screen

by Bulletrushout / December 13, 2008 6:59 AM PST

In an attempt to recover the password. i download the NTPASSWD to a floppy dr but could not use it because the PC does not have a floppy dr.Instaed of going back home i decided to do system recovery, and my nightmares began. The PC begin boot-up process after recovery was complete. The XP Logo and scroll bar was good to see then it act as if its gonna go to the welcome screen and the screen just remains blank. I restarted the system 6 times since, and each time it goes to the blank screen and thats it.
PC info is Compaq Presario SR1102BD, 325 INTEL Celeron, 80ghd, 512mb, XP-Home and SPK2.
Restore will not go beyond the time of recovery, which is a bummer and the other two people who has access to the PC has only limited access. I thought that they were also ADMIN base on my conversation with the owner whose password works no more. She did not forget her password, because its her daughters name, it just don't work. So how do i set this system straight.
