I have a 6month old Compaq M2000 notebook that went dead the other day. Would not start at all. I opened it up and without really doing anything it came back to life when it turned it on with the back cover removed. I re-assembled it, and dead again. Long story short, it seems to revive when I unplug the LED panel (the one with the power switch) cable and refit it. That seems to reset something. It dies suddenly at random intervals and I have to reset using the cable unplug-replug thing. Any ideas??
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
