It came with 64MB so it appears it's already been upgraded.

About all you can do is find a nice PCMCIA Wifi card and it will make a nice portable internet terminal.

Is it not possible to upgrade the processor or even the CD drive?

I took mine apart since I had a spare notebook CDRW and found it used another layout for the CD connector. If you want to, use an external USB CDRW but you can only write at 4X.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
