Compact digital camera w/ macro & great image quality

I would be grateful for some advice. I am looking for a point and shoot compact digital camera that has a macro mode (need this for flower photos) and gives high quality images. A 4-5X zoom is also an important criteria. It would be great if this camera had a viewfinder but this is not critical. My price range is ~$300. Many thanks.
