Question

Comodo Dragon Rendition 28: Blink or Webkit?

Jul 19, 2013 7:01AM PDT

I just was informed that Comodo Dragon was available in a new rendition, #28. My system is Dell dimension 3000 with Win XP. S.P. 3.I am wondering, is this a blink or a webkit rendering engine? In general, what's up with blink, what do you perceive concerning it? Is it very secure, does it have major detractions against it? Are a lot of people complaining or praising ?ADVISE.
Many thanks!

Clarification Request
So, Chrome?

Didn't seem to be webkit but Chrome based.

As to security, are you thinking a web browser can guard against the usual attacks that use social engineering?
Or are you thinking this will fix insecurities in the OS or any add-on you want to add?

Something's unclear so tell more.

There's some concern that the common code base
Jul 19, 2013 7:35AM PDT

"There's some concern that the common code base Blink and WebKit share could lead to some problems when it comes to recommending new standards. For the time being, it's going to be much easier to make a proposed spec work in both Blink and WebKit than, say, Gecko. Mozilla, Microsoft, and other W3C members will do their best to make sure everyone's on the same page."

So I'm unsure if I would care if it's one or the other given the common code base.

I'm certain it doesn't add to security.
