...about which removal tools you're using...but if you've got a "current, up to date" antivirus program on the computer, then please restart the computer into Safe Mode using the instructions in the link below, then run a full system scan with your antivirus program. Remember, because the files have "Failed to load", it's probable that they are already gone, but the error message is because of a registry "call" which is asking for the file. That requires a registry entry clean up. It would also help if you told us the exact location of the infected files if you're still finding them.

Hello all, I have a jet book laptop with win xp svc pack 2, 40g hd. I constantly receive an error message about commonaccess.exe and msfirewall.exe has failed to load. Per searches on google, these are malicious virus/trojans. Just when I think they are eradicated from my system, the messages pop up when I boot my system. Even tried getting them out of the registry with little success.
Question is two fold, are these really viruses/trojans, if so, how to permanently remove?
