General discussion

Commercial entities.

Where, in your opinion, am I most vulnerable to identity theft?

With commercial entities having their data ''hacked,'' ''lost,'' ''stolen'' or ''misplaced,'' I have observed that the problem-in-chief lies with companies that do not ensure safeguards, such as proper security, tracking and the encryption of what they do have, from potential thieves.

Willy Sutton was asked why he robbed banks and he responded, ''Because that's where the money is.'' Hackers and identity thieves know where the ''banks'' are, too.
