I'm purchasing a Inspiron 1521 with the following spec:

AMD Turion? 64 X2 Dual-Core processor TL-50 (1.6GHz/512KB)
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 Dimm
ATI RADEON

I Think it a good computer dell or Hp is always the way to go. i suggest if you are going to be playing games have a least 2GB of Ram Vista Is very Hungry On ram. But other than perfect system.

I'd try it with the 1GB RAM and keep in mind the move to 2GB may be required since Video memory in those HyperMemory systems scale as you add ram. That game may insist on a 256MB video ram and at 1GB the system I last looked over at 1GB had 128MB dedicated and dynamically allocated more. I didn't scrutinize your system that deeply.

You are at the low end (not the lowest) on ram, have a good video solution and a fair dual core. The 5400RPM is a good balance between speed and power consumption. I expect the settings to be just above the minimum.

Let me end that only dual SLI video cards that you see in desktops run on those maximum settings. No laptop you'd want runs this mode yet.
