Command prompt crash - ipconfig info

When I type "cmd" in the "run" window I get any empty black box with a blinking prompt. The box/window is totally frozen and I can get nowhere.

Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? I need to access my ipconfig information. Is there another way to get this information?

Many thanks!

Oscar

Try the other command prompt...

Instead of typing "cmd" at Run, type in "command". Note that if you get the prompt, you have to type in the exit command to return to the desk top (Just like old DOS)
