The owner had stuck too many signal splitters in so I rewired it so the cable modem got a better signal and it fixed it. That is:
Before, cable -> splitter -> splitter -> SPLITTER! -> cable modem.
After, cable -> splitter -> cable modem.

Ok to start , to this point im lost. About three weeks ago we dropped our voice calling service. I was having NO ISSUES whatsoever with download speeds. They then came out and took my motorolla modem and replaced it with a RCA DCM-315. It occasionally cuts out now nd then reconnects. And to boot my internet is now crazy slow. i have already tried bypassing my wireless router with a direct wired approach with no sucess on both my laptop , ps3 , and my desktop. Here's my performance and its about the same on the ps3 , laptop , and desktop with wireless or wired route.

I also have comcast with the powerboost that I pay an extra 10 bux a month for. My wireless router has the lateest fireware as well , it is a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO router F5D9230-4. BUT AGAIN , ITS THE SAME BYPASSING THE ROUTER AND TO A STRAIGHT WIRED CONNECTION FROM THE MODEM AS WELL! They have tried to help from customer support at comcast and insist evrything is ok on thier end and they say thier is no packet loss.....
By the way I have a PS3 80 gig
A Dell dimension B110 with upgraded to 3gb of memory - windows XP
A Hp DVP6000 laptop with 3 Gigs of memory as well. It's not a hardware problem on my end.....
