com.com detective work.....

Every night, prior to shutdown, I do full scans with AdAware, SpyBot, SpyWare Doctor, and sometimes MSAS.
I have some running in the backgrpund.

I finally tracked down this "hit" I get every night on several of the scans...."com.com"

CNET.

So, not complaining, mind you, but what is it about com.com that these scans hate?
And is there any real issue?
I think, once convinced this is really you folks and you tell me it's safe, I can add it to "ignore" lists on some......

Thanks.

Just what y'all needed, right?
Somthing else to look up......

Last October!

Okay, I've working on it.

I have never had any "avenue A", but as long as I know com.com is legit, I'll just leave it alone.

I do get a little worried.
Sometimes, and I am not sure exactly how the science works, I will click on a known website I use every day and get the warning screen from Spyware Doctor that I am about to enter a known bad site, "winfixer.com" or some other such stuff.

No idea how the site gets momentarily hijacked, next click to go in it's fine.

I was concerned as even a google search wasn't clear.
It sent me back here.

Thanks!
