Question

Colored Vertical lines on LCD

Apr 27, 2015 11:20AM PDT

I have a 46 inch Samsung LCD and it has colored vertical lines when I first turn it on. You can't see any image at all, so it's not like there's an image with lines. It's just the lines.

They kind of sway back and forth and sometimes the TV divides in half with one side being all black and the other with the colored vertical lines.

If I leave the TV on long enough and turn it off and on it will start working normally except for some discoloring on the left and some vertical lines.

What's going on and how can I fix it?

This does not sound like anything user accessible. Get repair estimates.
