It's free and should do this.
I know what I want to do. It is something I'm probably only going to do once. I'm OK with buying the right package, but I don't want or need to get an over-the-top piece of software when something smaller will do.
I am about to paint my house. I want to see what it looks like with different colors on the main part of the house, with different colors for trim, etc. So I have a few pictures of the house. I would like to trace out different parts of the house in detail and link them into different groups: a) side, b) molding, c) trim, d) fancy elements. And then apply color shading to the various groups / layers to see what the house would like like painted as such.
The free software from paint companies don't allow for the granularity for which I am looking. What software to I buy to do this? I'm pretty good with computers, but I don't want something that will take a week of training courses to work the program.
Thanks in advance for any/all advice.
