Color of the XP3200+

Ok are there different colors for the plastic of the 3200+ because ive seen the proc brown and I have seem it green. The one that I just bought OEM is green and I was wondering if they are supposed to be just brown.

I guees it depends on what AMD felt like doing when yours was made. The important this is that it works. John

Get the CPUID from it and go to the AMD website.

There may be different steppings for the line widths.

3200+ socket 754 with 1 mB cache runs at 2000 MHz and socket 754 with 512 KB cache runs at 2200 MHz.
