Color Laser Printer for Photographs

I'm looking to purchase a reasonable price color laser printer that prints photographs well. I don't need it on 4 x 6 photo paper - in fact I'm looking to print on cardstock. It's for printing birth announcements and other items that will include layouts featuring photos, but also have some text and other graphics. Any thoughts on a great printer?
