COLLEGE LAPTOP PLEASE HELP

hey all!

i am purchasing a laptop, going to u of i this fall. my mom gave me 500 bucks to help compensate and pay for some of the cost. but I could put some of my own money in it too, though i am trying to save for expenses next year(beer money) lol anyway heres what i want:

3 or 4 gig ram
big 200gig+ hd
plenty fast
no software needed- i will get at discount from my school
a good enough graphics card to play pretty heavy games. (starcraft 2 anyone?)
a nice, bright, big screen
webcam/dvd/cd
i saw one for 900 on QVC with a fecking blu ray player on it....so that was def. attractive, and i might just order that one.
