Coed cutter (senior/ tech challenged) seeking help

May 14, 2017 8:20PM PDT

Not sure I'm in the right place for this and don't want to waste anybody's time, but any suggestions will be deeply appreciated. Older senior, became a cord cutter..saying Adios to Bell...already have new providers for phone( voip) and internet...Problem will be watching movies and shows..due to illness, spend long time indoors. TV is old..not smart..can't plug any of those new boxes to it....thinking of watching (via subscription) online...perhaps Netflix and Hulu...Any tech savvy person with alternative ideas..?? ..Thank you in advance...

Why not use what you have?

Many watch netflix on their PC. How about that?

If the TV is so old as to not have HDMI then you have to consider fixing that issue.

Thank you...but...

If getting a new TV was so easy, I'd have done it already...Don't forget that a lot of seniors on pensions have to count their pennies...

I think you'll have to use your PC then.

Try that since the TV is too old for Roku and other sticks.
