coaxial cable problem

How do attach a standard coaxial female adapter on to a standard coaxial cable?

If this is not the best area to post this question please advise..thanks

they have threads and can screw on. To connect two cables, you need a double female adapter.

They are cgeap. Can be bought at Radio Shack or some other electronic store.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm talking about attaching a standard female adapter onto a coaxial cable which has no connector on the end ( it was cut ).
This coaxial cable was originally installed by my cable tv company ( for cable tv, cable internet etc.. )

Standard N female connectors for use with LMR-600 or WBC-600 Coax cable. They are used for a wide variety of connections to terminate coax at a N male jack. The body plating is Silver, the center pin is Gold and the dielectric is Teflon. Center pin attachment is a crimp type (.128 crimp) , and outer ring is crimp.
