Frankly if they can't answer why stick with this model? I've used too many that just work and this one for under 8 bucks to my mail box is pretty easy unless you are running on XP.
I got a new gaming rig, and a wireless adapter because it's nowhere near the family modem/router. After searching, I came across the CNet Wireless-N PicoUSB Dongle CQU-906, praising itself for 150mb/sec cap.
I followed the installing instructions to a T, I installed the drivers first, then installed it, then restarted, then plugged in the adapter and connected. My internet is 75mb/sec, I check this with my laptop. My desktop is getting a measly 7mb/sec, if that. Trying to get necessary programs on here take forever.
Looking at the pdf manual, the adapter, if connected correctly, should just have a bright green, steady light. My adapter is flashing extremely fast. So I try to get firmware updates, but I have no idea how to install them. Same goes for driver updates.
Can someone help me out?
