Cnet videos will not play on mac

On my Imac and MBA. im running Chrome on 10.10. They will play in safari no problem

what do I need to do?

I have VLC and DivX but still will not play in Chrome

Thank you! That disabled the extensions and I tracked down the one causing it. Disconnect is the cause, it prevents tracking and sharing of you to other sites. Maybe Cnet can make their videos just videos and not connected to so many other sites and/or Disconnect will make a paraphrase to allow the video to play through.
