CNET Videos Shouldn't Autoplay

Sep 23, 2006 1:19AM PDT

I subscribe to a few of the CNET newsletters and from time to time I click an email link to let Firefox load the page(s) in the background while I read my mail. I really loathe the fact that CNET videos automatically start playing on load.

Is there anyway, short of using Firefox plugins (as I have in the past, to prevent the videos from autoplaying?

I consider autoplay to be a HUGE annoyance, especially when I have a few videos on several tabs!
