CNET should do an expose on.....

CNET should do an expose on the challenges mid-market PC Builders face in today's market. With the current bitcoin and ethereum Mining craze driving up prices on older cards and secondhand processors being the main influence.

It's already on the web.

The miner's are buying up the entire supply of certain parts.

If you pick one of those parts for a build expect to pay a premium for it, if you can even find it.
