CNET library

In using the Forums, I just became aware of an article by Grif Thomas about protecting against viruses. It is a valuable article which I wish I would have known about before setting up my new computer because it has advice as to what you should do in that connection to protect your computer. I have from time to time come across similarly important articles.

It would be great if CNET had a libary of such articles as part of the forum.

Perhaps it would not be too ambitious an undertaking to have a separate forum entitled Library and containing only articles nominated by the moderators. Then, when a person searched for a topic, he could see which items were in the libary forum and thus likely to be particularly informative. It is likely taht the thread titles in such a forum would be considerably more informative and helpful than those in the other forums, thus facilitating the search.

This kind of idea has probably been suggested before but if so it bears repeating.

I know that what I need (info-wise) is all in these forums SOMEWHERE. Finding it with search can be a whole 'nother story!

Some of the posts from Cetin, Bob Proffit, and many others, are stored in a folder on my computer for just such access.

I think the idea of centralizing some of these more important pieces, especially the ones oft repeated, is a fabulous idea. Happy
