cnet forum pop ups

I just went to

PC hardware forum

I think I blew it....

and I had a pop up blocked by my google toolbar. Does cnet use pop ups here ?

If not I'm not sure what happened

Pop ups

There is a user survey pop up running the past few days.
I usually see it when I first log on. This hasn't been Cnets normal M.O. in the past. I hope that it won't be in the future.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
