CNET..Email

Nov 28, 2004 11:16PM PST

Seems my "CNET Email" is not working..I can send thru it ok but I "Cant Receive" thru it..I have checked several times and the "Address" listed is "Correct" and the "send email to this member" is enabled also. This was brought to my attention by "CNET Members" that have tried several times to send me Email which I never received. Tried several more times but still not receiving on this end..Need help to Fix it..Thanks.

couple of days ago through the forum email feature. If you didn't get it there could be a couple of things, your spam filter caught it or you're limiting the amount of emails being sent to you in your member profile, change it to "Unlimited" times monthly.

thanks,

Did anything help? I too sent you an email, and I received one earlier from another member, so the program itself must be working. I hope you can find out what the problem is.

Just a silly question Sumer but did you receive the one that I sent you on your regular e-mail address yesterday? I did NOT go through CNET with that one. I never got a reply so MAYBE the problem is with your e-mail provider ? WHICH I am sure they would deny whether or not they are having a problem, LOL Of course, maybe you just didn't reply either which is also possible. LOL

Something to try
Dec 13, 2004 8:37AM PST

Hi SumerBrez,

Try adding cnet-forum-privatemessageA@cnet.com to your address book. Make sure you have your mail program set to allow all messages from people in your address book.

This is the address that those emails come to me from. If it's the same for everyone, then maybe they'll come through. Or, at least if someone else's is different than that, then maybe it can determined what your exact one is, so that you can add it.
