So I consider myself pretty computer savvy. I know to always click "custom install" and uncheck all of the sponsored s*** that programs want you to install. So I recently downloaded a few different programs from this website, and I've never had issues in the past, but ever since they started this "cnet installer" thing, I've had nothing but problems.
3 different programs I installed, I unchecked the conduit search bar, accepted the terms and conditons for ONLY the programs I was intending to install, and after the install (which should have only been the program I was intending to install), anywhere from 2 to 5 new programs appear, including mypcbackup and savesense. It's not much trouble to uninstall them, but just the idea that I should have to go through the trouble when I declined the license agreements upon installation in the first place is a bit irritating.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
