Is the screens are running a browser in KIOSK MODE. If you don't know this mode, then you need to step back from the choosing and implementation to get more seasoned folk on your team. By making this a web service you have many CMS to choose from and for some that would be Word Press (again, google what this is.)
With Word Press and similar you create your content and it will show, play on your kiosk machines as well as Android.
Hi. I am getting very confused trying to find out exactly what I need. I am purchasing several large touchscreens for several libraries. These touchscreens will be available to users of the library and I need to know how to set up a user interface. In my mind it all seems very straight forward but I am not the most technical person. I need a system that allows a home screen that only gives users access to a specific set of content. This content will be a mix of Apps/Websites/and mp4 presentations. The idea is that when they click a specific button for one of our websites they will be taken to it but only be able to navigate on that particular website (with navigation buttons below to take them back to the list of available content) app or mp4. Is it possible to have software that allows you to choose a set amount of icons, then choose the image for the icon and assign it to link to a specific app or website or pre loaded mp4?
The touchscreens I am getting will be running windows 10 but are also android compatible.
thanks for any advise that can be given.
