General discussion

Clueless in California

Mar 27, 2005 1:25AM PST

I have two completely seperate business enities in my office, one of which is Internet connected on which I can process Credit Card transactions . The other has no Internet connection and CC payments are processed through a CC reader.I have to swipe the CC then enter the info into the database manually. My question is , can I hook up a wireless router and install a automated card reader on the machine with no Internet connection ? Would it work ? Or would I have to get an IP address for it. It would make life much simpler for if I could just use a router.
Hopefully someone can help me.

TIA,
Don Polk
