I have a BD-C5000C Samsung blu ray player. I cannot get closed caption on shows like House of Cards which I know is broadcast in CC. My wife is deaf, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help.

OK. Something to know.

Netflix writes that app so if they left out CC you need to return this player.

HOWEVER be sure to call Samsung to check if the firmware is the latest and ask how to change country codes so to force a fresh Netflix app download. I will never tell how as there is some risk if someone does this on an unsupported player.

After you have Samsung confirm all that, the next call is to Netflix to see if they omitted CC or some other reason.
