I believe that even with the full install, that the clipart is not actually put in place (and properly organized) until you actually try to use it for the first time. Just have your Office install disk handy when you go to use that clipart that first time.
It seems that way to me anyway. Usually, after I do an Office install, I open up PowerPoint and go to insert a clipart, that generally asks me for the Office CD (if I don't have it still in) and it does its thing getting, installing and organizing. After that I don't have a problem with clipart with any of the Office applications.
Hi Guys
I know this will sound strange, but isn't clip art stored on hard drive as a default? I worked on someone's PC recently and they mentioned they were having a problem with the clip art be available. There are maybe one or two pictures max. I checked out my own here at home and I have all the pics. I ran clip art organizer and everything is checked off, yet and all the clips will not show up. I even tried manually copying and pasting them into the clip art folder within ms office and I still can not get enough results. I don't bother with clip art at all, so I am kinda stumped. Any ideas as to what might have happened? When I installed office I made sure to check off 'complete'. I also saw on the knowlege base at microsoft that there is an option to check 'install clip art' or something to that effect under the 'custom' installation. I installed my version of office under complete and I was still able to get all the clip art. What gives?
Thanks!
