Resolved Question

Clients Defualt Browser Issues

Feb 4, 2015 11:41PM PST

Client I s having default browser issues. When clicking firefox browser to open shows up with this link:

http://search.yahoo.com/?ei=utf-8&fr=tightropetb&type=11083_020415

I have tried to virus scan with combofix, malware bytes, and spybot. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall firefox and I have also went and tried in FF options to change it back to Google homepage. After I change options or reinstall page comes back to link above. Any suggestions would be helpful on resolving this issue. Client only uses FF 2nd dairy browser not affected until uninstall of primary browser with link above shown.

No I do not. Could you please direct me in the right direction?

It also knocked out all of clients add-ons like ad block plus and more.

No you did not offend me.

"How do I change the home page in Firefox?"
"How do I change the search engine in Firefox?"

It's better to learn how to find answers to this than duplicate the web here.
