Clie or Tungsten?

Jul 5, 2004 6:39AM PDT

I have a M500. I want to upgrade to something with media features. The Clie NX80 is feature-packed but very big. I am also considering a T2 or T3. I don't know if I would us a camera but not having carried one it's hard to say. Most PDA's offer 310,000 pixels, so why bother. I can get a MP3 kit from Palm One for 5 bucks, so I am leaning towards a new T2. Help?

You should find Sony units at fire sale prices. The downside is without production, sales and more, support, bug-fixes, accessories and warranty become problematic. They will all claim you won't have an issue, but why trust them?

I have always had pretty good results with Palm. This will be my 4th if I decide to go with a Palm. The big Clie's have lots of features, but are huge compared to a Tungsten T2 or T3. I'll probably get a refurbished T3 or new T2. What do you think?

I have a small army of Palm units. The collection is for testing a few applications I've written, but Palm has moved in a new direction so my next platform may be something else unless Palm adds a serial port back in.

With m100, IIIc, Treo 90, Palm Vx and Zire 71 it's been fun. The T models are nice too. You may like such, but I can't use them without the serial port.
