Clicking on Phishing email's

by drgovinddas / July 16, 2006 6:57 PM PDT

Phishing email's arrive in my spam folder..I have a very clever spam filter Happy I then R-click on the sender, scroll down to properties and I can get a lot of information. I track the IP address and gather as much info as possible.

The last Phishing email was targeted at eGold. I sent all the info I had gathered to the Due Diligence dept.
of eGold.
I received a reply and they were not only grateful but were trying to catch the person.

I think there are times we have to take time and get involved to try and stop all the crime on the Internet. Maybe I did take a risk, but I have Windows XP Pro with SP2 and updates are on automatic. I have an AV program and several good anti Spyware Programs.

No problems with my PC from this exercise.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
