However, those little arrows that indicated whether or not they had been read no longer work for me. Is CNET pulling some late April fools stuff on us?
Has something changed, or is my Firefox acting up a little?
Nope, not just Firefox, it happens in IE as well.
What happens I hear you ask, loudly with frustration? ![]()
Before today, if I clicked a link inside a post, a new window would open with that link. Useful, as I didn't lose thye original post. I could right click the link and select "New Window", or (Firefox/Netscape 7.1), "New tab".
But now, when I click a link, it opens in the same window, causing me the extra effort of reaching up to the Back button to return to the original post. This is hard work!
Example;
Microsoft KB articles;
http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?st=b&na=88&View=en-US&qu=Cannot+log+off+in+Windows+XP
Should open in a new window, but opens in this same window.
Is it me? Or has something changed?
Ahh, that's weird. When I click the link above in "this" message, it opens a new window.
But when I click the same link in my original XP forum post, here, it opens in the same window.
I think I need to lie down!
