clearing clutter

my pc is getting a little slow at start. Where & how do I clean off the 'dust' & speed it up a bit / Example ; uninstall downloads that slow things up; in 'notes' , I have some going back to 2014! Just not sure what to delete/uninstall. Thanks !

I usually start with CCLEANER and then move to uninstalling. I might use REVO UNINSTALLER if I have time.

Ok...CCleaner.But, I really wanted to know exactly what i could delete, without doing away with something I need ? I don't even know what some of the stuff is.

Apps are up to your choice. If you use them, then you know. If you don't know what an app is and can't find out with google, just ask about that app here.
