Google search question

I'm going through the same thing. Problem is MSN Explorer, not Google. MSN points Google to same search history. Problem will NOT be fixed by going to "Internt Options", clearing history, autofill, and forms (these are commonly suggested fixes). Common wipe programs like Window Washer and Cyberscrub don't work. One band-aid that DOES work: on MSN search bar, right-click a search item to highlite it, then press "delete" on your keyboard. That item will go away. If you find a better way, please let me know.

Google search question

Tried these 'till I was blue in the face. They DO NOT WORK. MSN Explorer uses seperate history from IE (atleast on my PC with MSN9). I try these, then just open IE, (I am connected via DSL) everything is fine - no search history. Then open MSN - presto! - all search history remains. And somehow this history is ported to Google. Rebooted frequently, including complete shutdown/power off/wait 5 min, restart. If these worked for you, terrific. The ONLY success I have had is the highlite/delete key, one by one.

No, I am not familiar with that one - don't know if it would work. My issue is that MSN / MSN Passport is generating a search history, also used by Google, that is totally seperate from Internet Explorer's history. Some "cleaning" software presumes that your history is IE only. I used a different product, Cyberscrub, and it didn't work. I contacted them; they said it does not work with MSN9, and are working on a patch.
