CLEAR Desktop shortcut

How to get back CLEAR Desktop shortcut?:
Under win95/98 there was a QuickLaunch section.
How can i create that under XP?

vm808, If you mean the Show Desktop icon shortcut in your quicklaunch area go to the link below and under the letter "S" scroll down to "Show Desktop Icon is Missing" where you'll find 2 ways to accomplish this.

To show the quick launch bar, right click a clear area at the task bar, click on Tool bars, then Quick Launch. I am not sure what you mean by "CLEAR Desktop shortcut"--REMOVE the desktop of shortcuts ? Make the desktop shortcuts TRANSPARANT ("see- through") ? Or do you mean getting a 'BLANK' desktop, with only the quick launch bar from where to launch your programs ?
