Cleaning keyboard

I cleaned my keyboard a few weeks ago with Endust compressed air, since then I continue to have metal(ish) smell/taste on my fingers. I know this is odd question however, I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? Seriously thinking about getting a new laptop and keyboard.

Thank you!

I'm going with no.

But when I clean a PC I'm either outside or wearing a dust mask. I will also use a just barely damp paper towel where it's appropriate to collect dust and such.

If you just blew all the dust and such into the room it would take time for it to settle so you can collect it with cleaning the floors and such.

As to the taste, I don't want to taste such so I use a dust mask and the barely damp paper towel.

It seems there are others who complain about the smell.

Use a paper towel and spray it with some windex or other glass cleaner and wipe down the keyboard.

See if you can clean off the residue from that endust.

You got that right. Spray the paper towel. Not the keyboard.
