Click on next to choose your device from a list in the list there is many manufacturer one of them is Aztech,in my computer the modem is Azech MDP 3900 V-W modem, but in the list in the configuration wizard there is no MDP 3900 V-W modem

Some of these bundled applications are no longer being maintained or only work with a very short list of OS and Modems.

What many find out is that such software has no support that one can find, even if they were willing to pay for such.

I'll share I found http://www.bvrp.com/ENG/support/ and you should research that and consider either upgrading either modem or software or do as I did and implemented another solution.

Classic phonetools doesn't support that model (according to the web site)
May 9, 2004 11:52PM PDT

"Brand : AZTECH
Modem name: EM3900-U
Modem name: MDP3858-U Modem
Modem name: MDP3880-U Modem
Modem name: MDP3880-U Modem
Modem name: MPD3858-W Modem
Modem name: MSP3880SP-W 56K
Modem name: MSP3885-E 56K PCI Modem
Modem name: V.90 Data/FaxEU
Modem name: V.90 Data/FaxUS"

Your MDP 3900 V-W is not listed.

Before you exclaim that such software was bundled with the modem, be aware that some vendors offer such bundles, but never check that it works.

Thanks a lot Bob for your kind reply & help. May I ask you what other solution you implemented? I will be more than happy to follow. What is your advice & what other software you recommend instead of the Classic phonetools. I would like to use the computer to send & recieve faxes & to use it also as an answering machine, that is what the classic phonetools suppose to offer.
Looking forward to receiving your kind help.
Thanks

Frankly?

I've yet to see a reliable all-in-one software solution. The expectations always seem to exceed the reliability of today's offerings. But I used Winfax 10 for the fax item and for the voice, I have a CyberGenie. The fax line at the office is dedicated.
