Class 6 or higher: Will it make a difference?

Jul 5, 2009 10:00PM PDT

I just bought one of those pistolgrip Xacti cameras (CG10), and the indoor performance leaves a lot to be desired. I figured it was the sensor of the camera, and that's just what I had to deal with, but my friend says I need to get an HD SD card, and that'll help.

So my question is, will getting one of those expensive 15Mb/s (or more) cards make any difference versus a Kingston Class 6?

And the HD Video SD cards are just hype, right? I'll pay the money I have to for performance, but I don't want to spend money that's not going to help out any.
