Clamshell for $300 CDN - good deal?

by Madalina / August 13, 2005 8:09 AM PDT

Hello everyone,

I have the opportunity to pick up a G3 12" 300MHz/128MB/6GB/CD-ROM/56k Clamshell, for $300 CDN.

Basically, I need it for word processing, Internet, and other such basics. I'm starting school in September and want to be able to drag it around with me everywhere I go.

Does this sound good to you guys?

I don't want to make a mistake...I can get it tomorrow...but I just want to make sure there are no horrible issues with this model that would get in the way of the basic tasks I need it for.

Thank you very much for any info or suggestions you can offer.

PS. I'm so excited about this, I can barely stop smiling.

Get the OS install CDs. You may be nonplused trying to obtain them later.
