cingular or verizon

I live in New York City and I'm thinking of leaving T-Mobile because of recurrent dropped calls. I know that Verizon is rated highest in the area. Does anyone have experience with Cingular (though I believe they run on the T-Mobile network)? I'd like to stay with GSM but I'm worried about Cingular's customer service problems.

If you are worried about costimer service problems then skip Verizon. Verizons phones can also be very expensive. They also have bad coverage in queens atleast and they don't have great coverage in Bronx

Cingular is now AT&T too and T-mobile and Thier own network.
They have very good coustimer support

I haven't had any problems with Cingular customer service and I have noticed even better reception with the merger of AT&T towers. By March all of AT&T's towers will be converted for Cingular customers.

I can't speak for Verizon, but I have Cingular and have great service and coverage. With the acquisition of AT&T, it's getting better yet. From what I see on Verizon's website, I'd have to pay 15-20 bucks a month more for their service, and lose my rollover in the deal. Why would I want to do that?

VERIZON!! Don't ever go with Cingular. I had cingular like a couple of years ago and I went on a trip up to Chicago and New York, like everyone of my calls that I made were dropped because of there worthless service. Verizon Wireless is the best coverage besides SouthernLinc. Verizon Wireless also has better phones than Cingular. CINGULAR SUCKS!!!!!!!
