Cingular's philosophy is never to refund customer payments, even when the mistake is clearly on the company. I was being charged an additional $50 per month data service which I could not have used even if I requested the service. My phone doesn't support data service. The Cingular customer representative admitted that the company is able to see that I haven't been using the data service when I called, but they refused to refund, period! And the most credit they can give me is up to three months.
If anyone out there has any advice whatsoever, please tell me. I am currently seeking solutions with an attorney.
