Question

Chromebook not connecting to wifi

Mar 18, 2020 8:41AM PDT

My Chromebook is not connecting to the WiFi and when I try to enable Wi-Fi, it turns off instantly. No option to connect is showing, but my phone is connected. The only connection option is a VPN. No WiFi options showing. Please help. Feel free to ask questions.

I pressed ESC refresh power to reset it.

Please re-read the linked article.

"Powerwashing" a Chrome OS device is a fancy way of saying "factory reset"

The thing is.

You replied that you used "ESC refresh power" which is not powerwash and while you supplied another article that gets into powerwash and more I still can't tell if you got it done.

If you powerwash and it still fails then it's either pilot error or the machine is broken.

Be sure to let your neighborhood guru try it at their home.
