Question

Chrome not detected?

Dec 26, 2012 11:25AM PST

Bear with me here . . .

I installed Chrome (and I like it) on my Levono desktop running XP Pro SP3 and all updates. I love it. I installed Chrome on my Levono laptop running XP Pro SP3 and found a utility, Chrome Backup, to copy the settings. I installed the utility on both PCs, created a backup of the desktop and copied the setting to the laptop. I installed the utility on the laptop and chose restore. Worked perfectly.
I installed Chrome and the utility on my server (Levono desktop running XP Pro SP3). I opened the utility on the server intending to do a restore like above. And it said Chrome was not installed. What??!! So I uninstalled Chrome, uninstlled the utility, reinstalled Chrome, reinstalled the utility, and same, same.

Any thoughts?
