Hello & Thanks ,
Whenever I open up Chrome
it opens up 6 more Chromes (says Task Manager).
How can I get it to open up only one Chrome ?
I deleted all Chrome extensions , but no better .
Thanks...Vern

try the following

so you are not opening additional windows, it just shows up as entries in your task manager???? you can try to reset chrome to default and you can try clearing the cache and cookies to see if it helps.

Seems we need to know about Chrome's own task manager.

Bob,
Didn't know about that , cool .
It gives the title of each tab running,
At least now I have an idea what's running .
When i view Extensons Chrom says i have no extensions, but CTM says
It has a "extensions : Bookmark manager tab"
which if I end process , it restarts it immediate .

What is GPU process , I can't EndProcess on it .

There's a forum all about Chrome internals.

GPU is a rendering engine. Without it, well, no display. Chrome is actually an OS (you can see it now.)

If you google this, it's normal. Did you try resetting Chrome as well as checking the Chrom Task Manager (see google on both if you forgot.)

Answer
check your home page setting

also don't keep any setting that opens the last pages you were at upon chrome opening. check MSCONFIG from a Run prompt, see if anything there.

MSCONFIG

No there's nothing from Chrome in MSCONFIG .
